You will experience:

This full day trip will take you around the IJsselmeer, the former Zuiderzee(South Sea), closed off in 1932 by a 30km (20miles) long dyke that now connects North Holland and Friesland, the only man-made object visible from space. ...

Cross this dyke into Friesland, the special part of The Netherlands, the centre of watersports with their typical farms and their own language.

In Franeker, you will visit the oldest working PLANETARIUM in the world, built in his sitting room by Eise Eisingafrom1774 till 1781.

This tour will continue to the small old fishing village Hindeloopen, with its museum of ice skating and full of painted furniture. You will have lunch in Hindeloopen and continue to Giethoorn, the "Venice of the North" for boat trip in its picturesque canals amongst the thatched roofs of the houses and farms. The experience will end back to Amsterdam through the Flevo Polders which are 500,000 acres of new land, reclaimed in 1970, 15 feet below sealevel.
