Lokal Amico offers bespoke local and online travel experiences hosted by locals from wonderful destinations in Asia and Europe. Our service aims to usher travelers into discovering their home cities through in-person tours as well as online tours inspired by their interests.
Our online platform connects hosts and guests for experiences that best equip them with insights and knowledge about the city’s food, history, culture, and even niche activities.
We aim to work with hosts who are advocates of their city with perhaps an uncontainable desire to get visitors to fall in love with it, too. Our Amici must be enthusiastic travelers themselves. Together with our guests, they are eager to explore new things, delight in ingenious ways to enjoy the city, and meet people of different backgrounds.
By joining our community, you are helping to develop a culture of friendship across the globe, especially as we grow Lokal Amico in different cities. We are also devoted to building a network of happy hosts. When you are well taken care of, that happiness will radiate as you share your culture, history, and the city with our guests.
How It Works
Sign up as a Lokal Amico Host
After you send us your email address, we will send you email containing a link to the “Become an Amico” online form for you to fill out so you can provide details about yourself and your online adventure.
What type of experience do you want to host?
Choose if you prefer to host a regular in-person adventures or an online experience.
Tell us about yourself.
Give us a brief description about yourself, why you love your city, your photo and reviews from previous guests.
Design your experience.
Describe as much as possible what type of experience you will be offering to guests, why they should book your experience and how you can make it fun and engaging for them. Send us images to describe it. We will display these in the site with your name as a host.
Submit your experience.
We will be reviewing your application and we will contact you within the next 3-5 days.
