No Show & Cancellation Policy for guests

Cancellation policy

Local experiences:

  • Should there be changes to your schedule, please inform the Lokal Amico team at least 7 days prior to the starting time of your local experience to be entitled for cancellation. You can also opt to reschedule your experience instead by sending an email to bookings@lokalamico.com at least 7 days prior to the starting time of your local experience and our Experience planners will be very happy to assist you.

  • If a host cancels an experience, guests receive 100% refund.

Online experiences:

  • Guest will be allowed to reschedule their booking to another time only if they email Lokal Amico at least 48 hours before the booked experience.

  • Guest cannot rebook their schedule less than 48 hours before their booked experience. Lokal Amico reserves all rights to to pay the hosts their fee.

  • Our Hosts always do their best to honour their scheduled experiences. However, if due to unforeseen circumstances, and the Host need to cancel the online experience:

    • Host needs to let Lokal Amico SRL know at least 72 hours prior to the start of the online experience. Guests will receive an email from the Lokal Amico team for the new schedule.

    • For less than 72 hours, guest will have the option to turn their cancelled experience into credits to book for other available experiences, rebook the same experience on another date or get a refund.

    • If the host cancels in less than 24 hours, the guest will receive a 100% refund.

*By starting time, this takes into account the starting time based on the time zone of the experience.

No Show Policy for Guests

As we are offering well-curated experiences, the Lokal Amico team and the hosts take time to prepare each experience for the guests. We recognise the efforts and preparation our Hosts put in their experiences. Therefore, we do not tolerate no-shows.

Local experiences:

  • If the guest has booked a local experience and did not show up or join during the scheduled date and time without any prior heads up to the Lokal Amico team, guest is not entitled for a refund.

Online experiences:

  • If the guest has booked an online experience but did not show up or join during the scheduled date and time without any prior heads up to the Lokal Amico team of more than 48 hours, Guest is not entitled for rescheduling or rebooking their adventures.

Lokal Amico SRL will only allow two no-shows strikes. If the Guest has a record of at least two no-shows, Lokal Amico team reserves the right to reject the guest’s future bookings.
