You will experience:

From bone chapels to ancient Christian catacombs, you will go underground and... keep exploring the eternal city from a different point of view.

You will start in the city centre where your expert guide will take you to the Capuchin Bone Chapels, decorated with the remains of around 3,700 friars. The most peculiar decoration you will ever see also comes with a message of hope and faith. Learn everything about these friars’ view on life and death. After leaving the crypts, you will get on a van and head to the ancient Christian catacombs. Burial grounds of saints, martyrs and early Christians, the catacombs are an amazing journey into the past that will help you understand present traditions. You will then get back on the van and your driver will drop you off at the city centre. Read more

Tour exludes ticket fee and is to be paid in case before the tour starts

Adult 17+: €18 per adult for both the crypts and the catacombs; kids aged 6-16 years old: €10 per kid for both the crypts and the catacombs. Free entrance for kids under 5 years old.

For 4+ guests, we will need a van which costs at least €120 in total.
