The Complete Budapest Art Nouveau Tour

You will experience:

We will start from the Gellért Thermal Complex, and from there we will explore the often neglected district 11, an area that is regaining in these days the artistic, and cultural popularity that started it off in the early 20th century. The area around the Parliament will give us the opportunity to see one of the best examples of Hungarian Art Nouveau by Ödön Lechner, as well as the Gresham Palace, and the House of Art Nouveau, together with... many other interesting buildings.

After a snack, the trolley bus will transfer us to the diplomatic district, rich in Art Nouveau villas. We will reach the other side of the city park, entertained by the view of Budapest's Zoo, surprisingly another gem for Art Nouveau lovers. In the residential district of Zugló, the complex of the Institute for the Blinds will let us explore more Ödön Lechner's work, as well as the impressive Geological Institute, with a blue roof covered in ceramic. Another bus ride and we will jump to the 8th district, for the unexpected finale of this tour.
