A common habit enjoyed by Italian people is the art of Italian "aperitivo". It is a social habit of indulging in afternoon or pre-dinner drinks and snacks with friends. If you have been to Italy, the aperitivo culture is well practiced in bars and when Italians host guests for dinner. "Aperitivo" usually means "pre-dinner" and it is comprised of a cocktail and a beautiful spread of light bites before dinner starts. ...

Live from his own bar in Bologna, Italy, our mixologist Massimiliano will guide you step by step during the preparation of the aperitivo, how to properly drink a cocktail and how to create different types of bruschetta with assorted toppings out of one baguette. He has made sure that all ingredients can be found easily wherever you are in the world.

As someone who loves entertaining guests, Massimiliano will share and answer all your questions and curiosities about the world of Italian bars and the culture of the Italian aperitivo.
